History

Kailo Sumber Kasih was founded as the first commercial producer of PE Bags in Indonesia in December 2000 by Mr. Sam Young Jung. He started his business as a Manufacturing Polybag Company, and it has been making zero waste products since July 2001.:

The company’s first goal was to improve its production flow by identifying and eliminating waste. This approach was very different than normal production and required more innovations. Although there were several similar products on the market at that time, Kailo is most commonly known to have created the first PE Bag, PE Piping, PE Board & PE Foam and other products that are still in use today.

Over the past last 20 years, Kailo has worked towards improving all of its customers’ green choices. In 2009, Kailo started manufacturing Zippo Bags through a mixture of electronics and they have met all the garment production standards. In 2010, the company launched 2 new products called PE Piping and PE Sheets. These products are often used inside clothing bags for men and women. Kailo Products have excellent quality and meet the relatively high demand for all the garment producing companies.

As a result of the large demand for all our products, Kailo opened three branch factories in Central Java in 2012. Moreover, to meet the demands and market competition, Kailo has also expanded these buildings and added and upgraded their production machines which were imported from Xiamen, China.

Along with the local and global economic fluctuations, Kailo continuously seeks to respond to every challenge from our customers to make the best quality products and as a result Kailo continues to make breakthroughs in bag designs as a way to strengthen our business and grow in line with the development of our production and markets.
